The Premium Plus version 2 model has the following features that are listed below:

New steam and hot water handles
The steam & hot water handles have been redesigned. The new handles have a superior feel and unique centre caps to retain the elegance that Giotto has become known for.

Control panel
When the water level is running low in the reservoir a flashing power lamp light is indicated. The pump is still disabled should the water level become critical. Additionally
a new pressure gauge with a large 68mm diameter, a stronger and more robust ignition switch is installed.

Newly designed feet
New and redesigned feet. 125mm of surface contact area on each foot ensures the stability of the machine. The machine now sits at height of 30mm which enhances the visual presence of the machine.

Drain tray modifications
New drain tray lines now follow the contours of the machine, adding to the elegance that is Giotto. Drain trays now slide out to eliminate water slop when being emptied.

Commercially specified pressure stat
At last a domestic espresso machine that has a pressure stat with the accuracy of 0.035 degrees. Temperature control as good as it gets, with the addition of a fully commercial pressure stat. Technology that in the past was reserved for commercial machines only.

Enhanced temperature control
The diameter of both the inlet and outlet group pipes has been increased which in turn increases water circulation and aids thermal retention within the group. The Giotto Premium Plus model now features group circulation pipes of 10mm. The Giotto Premium Plus V2 model now features an insulated boiler wrap to save on energy and increase thermal stabilityThis version also has a fitted restrictor into the group inlet tube, which adds control and stability to the group water temperature.

New cup frame surround
The retro beauty of the famous espresso machines of the 50's and 60's has been retained with the Giotto cup frame. The new cup frame has a thickness of 5.5 mm and is now firmly secured in four fixing points.

  Product Features and Specifications
The Rancilio Rocky grinder is loved by espresso drinkers around the globe. It is hard-wearing, quiet and incredibly easy to use. As has come to be expected of all Rancilio’s products, the Rocky has set the bar for other grinders competing in the domestic market. Both the internal mechanisms and the exterior are built to last.
Grinding Wheels
The Rancilio Rocky has 50mm commercial grind wheels (burr set) that are tempered, hardened steel, cut to a precise teeth pattern. This increases the longevity and performance of the grinder. The grind wheels are also easily replaceable.
Doserless Model
The Doserless Model grinds fresh on demand. it can be used with virtually any portafilter.
Doser Model
The built in doser enables you to collect approximately 7 grams of coffee per click of the lever.
UV Protected Bean Hopper
The 300 gram capacity hopper is blue tint in colour to help reduce UV damage to the beans
Grind Size Options
In addition to the 40 grind settings provided on the dial, the Rocky can go beyond that to give you almost 55 settings! This allows you to select the grind size that will produce your desired coffee. The Rocky can grind fine enough for Turkish coffee or course enough for French Press coffee makers and anything in between!
Safety
In the unlikely event that the Rocky malfunctions, overheats or becomes jammed, there is a built in thermal protection device.
